Purpose:

•  To ensure the safety, communication, and welfare of Ward members and neighbors during and after a disaster or emergency.

Core Objectives:

•  Account for all Ward members and neighbors quickly and accurately.

•  Coordinate local efforts for rescue, care, and communication.

•  Cooperate with Stake leaders, government authorities, and relief agencies.

•  Help Ward members become self-reliant before disasters occur.
